This Korean Jindo mom had a litter of 8 puppies in early April. One week ago, Grace was contacted about a special dog at Carson Animal Control in LA. As it turned out, a Korean Jindo mom and her pups were slated for euthanasia. This dog got the attention of a former employee and close friend of Dr. Phil and his family who are supporter of the breed and the proud owners of another Jindo.Carson Animal Control agree to place the dogs on hold for The Grace Foundation to rescue.

The next day
, family friend Kristen Osborne and a member of  Dr. Phil's family went down and paid the fees to save the dogs and had a transport company deliver them to the care of The Grace Foundation of Northern California. Mom and pups are all doing great and are living in the home of a Grace Foundation foster care provider until they are ready to go out for adoption. They are about 4 weeks old now and will be available for adoption once they are 8 weeks old and have been spayed and neutered. It will be at least another 4-6 weeks before they will be ready for adoption.
