Black Beauty ~ Black Beauty is a 17 year old Quarter. Black Beauty had been abandoned in horrible condition and was more than 300 lbs. under-weight. Black Beauty clearly had a home where someone had put a tremendous amount of training time into her! She is perfect under saddle and knows all of the cues!

Danja ~ Danja is a 19 year old Thoroughbred mare, 15.2 hands. Danja came to Grace in 2009 from El Dorado County on a neglect case. Danja was about 300 pounds underweight when she arrived. She soon regained her weightt. Danja and Danjo were paired together and soon became fast friends. Danja enjoys working as a project horse and is a great lesson horse for experienced riders. Light riding horse.

Heidi ~ Heidi is a Bay Quarter mare. She is 30 yrs old and 15 hands. Heidi was surrendered by her owner due to bankruptcy and foreclosure. She is a very sweet girl. Light riding horse.

Logan ~ Logan is a 22-year-old Arabian/Quarter cross and came to Grace in 2007 from Sacramento County Animal Control, as the  result of a cruelty case. Logan was more than 400 pounds underweight when he arrived. When caretakers took him out of his pen, he seemed sad and lonely and, quite simply, unloved. It was obvious that Logan wanted to be part of the  constant activity at Grace, so as soon as he had gained his weight back he became part of Grace’s programs.

LT ~ LT is a 24 year old Bay mare. She is 15 hands and should be used as a light riding horse. LT is easily haltered, very compliant, backs easily, and will allow you to touch her all over.

Molly ~ a big Seal Bay Warm Blood mare, about 20 yrs old. She is from a hunter jumper barn  originally before being abandoned. She is very strong and lovable. Needs an experienced rider.

Paso ~ 12 yr  old Paso Fina/fox trotter chestnut  mare, 14.2 hands, great     personality, very sweet. She has an old knee injury that makes riding questionable. Possibly with light weight, but more likely best suited as a pasture companion. She would be a wonderful     companion to someone who loves gentle, sweet, friendly horses. She is a love and her sweet disposition will win the heart of anyone who meets her.

Shadow ~ DOB 2004 Mustang/Quarter Bay gelding, 14.3 hands.  Shadow has a sweet disposition and is a trainer favorite.  He has not been ridden but he is willing to learn.  He would make a great pasture pet with riding potential in time.

Snowball ~ Snowball is a white Appaloosa with grey spots. She is 13.1 hands. Great for beginner riding but needs schooling at canter. Great little trail horse.

Valentine ~ Found tied to a trailer on Valentine’s day, eye injury that   required removal, great ground    manners and riding skills, very willing to please,  most likely an old ranch horse.

Winston ~ Winston is a 15 year old Thoroughbred. Winston had been abandoned at a barn and his owners were never found.  After gaining over 200 lbs., Grace caretakers were able to evaluate Winston’s skills and were thrilled to find out that he had been someone’s riding horse!
