One-day hand-ons field trip for youth. Participants will learn about plant structure, water cycle,
local ecosystem, heart and muscles, recycling, fur, feathers, skin and nails. In addition participants will learn about natural
horsemanship, empathy, animal behavior, team building, life skills and volunteerism. Designed for grades 3-6. Cost: $12.50

The Grace Foundation is pleased to announce the dates for our 2nd annual VET CAMP lead by Dr. Mike Russell, The Grace
Foundation veterinarian. VET CAMP is a 5-day youth program designed for ages 12 to 17 interested in veterinary
medicine and science in general. The program combines demonstrations, discussions and hands-on experience. Topics include,
but are not limited to: Animal Husbandry, Physical Examinations, Identifying signs of illness, Disease Prevention, Organ Systems
and their diseases, and Wound Care. This camp fills up quickly. There are limited slots and a minimum of 6 participants.
Cost: $300 gold and platinum members / $350 non-member / $240 youth in the Youth Leadership Program

Horseback Riding Day Camps
|
This one-week camp focuses on all aspects of horse care including ground fundamentals as well as riding. Riding will
include arena work. Both English and Western riding disciplines are covered. Participants will also learn valuable leadership
and teamwork skills.
Ages 8 and up. Camps limited to 12 participants maximum, 5 participants minimum. Cost
for one week day camp is $300 members / $350 for non-member per child / $240.00 for youth in the Youth Leadership Program
Send your $75 non-refundable deposit, application, emergency form, and release of liability to reserve your
spot! Remaining $225 members / $275 non-members due on or before the first day of camp.

Experience fun-filled summer days with pony activities. This 3-day camp is designed for ages 4-7.
Camp limited

Groups up to 10 children will experience horse-theme crafts and games, learn to groom a pony and ride a horse. Activities
to be led by experienced Grace Foundation volunteers. Children should be between the ages of 4 and 12. $295 for
a 3 hour birthday party for 10 children at the ranch. ($20 for each additional child participant)

Includes Orientation tour, barn and horse safety,
Grace Foundation’s Natural Horsemanship philosophy on handling horses, hands-on
grooming and leading. Cost for this 2 hour clinic is $15 per participant

Short tour of facility, earning the “Animals” Try-It patch by learning
about safe behavior around animals, distinguishing characteristics and necessary care. Try-It patch included. Cost
for this 1.5 hour clinic is $10 per participant

Girl Scout/Brownie Field Trips Private Junior "Badge" Session
|
Horse Fan – includes short facility
tour with emphasis on tack room, tack demonstration, hands-on grooming
and leading. Absorb some of the local lore with
personal stories of some of The Grace Foundation’s “legendary”
equines. Follow up with an art activity involving careers with horses or horse anatomy. Horse Rider – (minus riding portion) includes short facility tour
with emphasis on the tack room and feed barn. Spend
extra time focusing on barn safety, horse anatomy, vet and farrier
care.
Cost for this 3 hour clinic is $20 per participant

Girl Scout/Brownie Field Trips Work Projects at The Grace Foundation
|
Volunteer/community service participation is always welcome! (Due
to Staffing and supervision needs, troops with Scouts under the age of 12 will
be required to participate in one of the above mentioned scout clinics in conjunction
with a work project)
